Gloucestershire County Council’s highways crews will be resurfacing Hyde Lane, Cheltenham from Friday 2 November.
The road in Cheltenham has deteriorated and requires repairing. Hyde Lane will be closed between Friday 2 November to Thursday 15 November (excluding Saturday and Sunday) between the hours of 7am – 7pm.
A diversion suitable for all type of vehicles will be in place. Crews will complete vital resurfacing across 8,010m² of road with approximately 945 tonnes of material.
Cllr Bernard Fisher, county councillor for St Paul’s and Swindon, said: “Hyde Lane is a busy commuter route and the resurfacing will have a significant benefit to the local community here in Swindon Village. I’ve been calling on the county council to complete this work for some time, so I welcome these improvements at last."
